Materials and Supplies:
Fabric for Blocks: Approximately 7 ½ yards of batiks (the equivalent of
about 2 ½ pounds of a huge variety of scraps from previous quilts.
Sashing: Black and White Batiks (a total of 3 3/4 yards)
Batting: King
Backing: 8 yards (Three pieces each 2 2/3 yards sewn together)
Binding: 2 ½” x 400” (use a variety of batiks cut in 2 ½” x various lengths
Tools: Triangular template (quarter-square) that measures at least 5” from top to
bottom, down the middle and an 8 ½” square template
