Be Still My Heart Pattern
Completed size 100” x 74”
Ingredients necessary:
1/3 yard each of 12 different “white with black” fabrics (or 8 different fabrics ½
yd each)
Approximately 2 (two) pounds (the equivalent of six yards) of colorful scraps and
stash (for the hearts, some pieces need to be at least 9” square). If considering fat
quarters for the hearts, I would have at least 24 different ones (green, red, yellow,
orange, purple, blue, lime green, bright pink, black with bright designs, etc)
4 yds of Muslin for backing hearts and foundation for outer border
1 yd Black/White dots for zinger (sashing) and binding
6 yds Black and White Polka Dotted fabric for backing
4 yards of paper backed, iron-on adhesive
